In order to block a sender from sending you messages, you can go to Junk Mail and right click on a message and choose Junk > Block Sender. However, you should only block a sender if you no longer want to receive their messages. Otherwise, blocking them is unnecessary.
Adding a sender
When you get email from an unknown sender, you need to add that sender to your Outlook Safe Senders List. There are a few different ways to do this. You can add a sender to your Safe Senders List manually, or you can use an Outlook add-in.
Outlook’s Contacts feature lets you easily add email addresses to your list of contacts. When adding a new contact, you enter the contact’s information one at a time. You can also add the email body to the contact’s entry. When you’re finished, you’ll be able to see all of your contacts at once.
If you’re using Outlook 2016, you can select multiple email messages by holding the Ctrl key while selecting the first one in the list. This will select all the emails in the mail folder, as well as all the senders in the contacts drop down list. If you’d like to add several email addresses to a contact group, you must first create a new contact group.
Adding a specific email address
If you don’t want to receive emails from certain people, you can easily block their email addresses by adding them to your Outlook block sender list. In the Options menu, click the “Block Sender” option. Then, click “Add a specific email address to block sender list.” In the new window, click “Add a specific email address.”
First of all, you need to remember that Outlook has a limit of 2000 entries in its Blocked Sender list. Adding more than 2000 addresses will result in the filtered messages being moved to the Junk Email folder. Another problem with Outlook blocked sender lists is that you can accidentally add an email address to your Blocked Senders list that you actually do not want to receive. Once you have added a specific email address to your Blocked Sender list, you will be unable to recover messages that you dropped or moved to your Junk Email folder.
Fortunately, there are a variety of tools to help you block senders. One of them is Kutools for Outlook, which has 20 handy Outlook add-ins. You can download it for free and try it for 45 days. This tool helps you block email senders with ease. Just open the add-in, add the email addresses you want to block, and click “Add” to add them to your block sender list. Now, any email from a blocked sender will be automatically filtered to the Junk Email folder.
You can also block specific domains or mailboxes in Outlook. This feature is especially useful for shared accounts and is available on both the desktop and Outlook Web App. When using Outlook, you can add an e-mail address to your Outlook block senders list by right-clicking the email.
Blocking a specific email address from Outlook is relatively easy and straightforward. If you regularly receive spam emails, the “Unsubscribe” button is not always enough to keep spam out of your inbox. To block multiple email addresses, you can create a block list or block the entire domain.
Editing the list
When you want to block a specific sender, you can do so in Outlook by editing the list. This process will block emails sent by the sender. The list will contain information such as the email address of the sender and the domain from which the emails are being sent. The list will also contain information about the sender’s contact information.
The Blocked Senders list in Outlook is a filter that puts the sender’s domain and address on a list that will be automatically blocked from your mailbox. This filter will automatically block messages from that sender and will move them to the Junk Email folder. The problem with this feature is that it does not prevent the messages from being downloaded. In addition, this feature doesn’t let you group the messages and train the filter accordingly.
Alternatively, you can block specific messages based on the country they came from. For example, if a foreign country is sending you spam emails, you can block it. In order to do this, you can select the message from the sender and click the “Junk” button. If you have a foreign country, you can also click the “Blocked Top-Level Domain” option to block messages sent from it.
You can also add a mailing list or email address to the list. By doing so, you will ensure that you receive no junk emails from that domain or address. If you use a shared email account, you can use the Outlook Web App to manage the blocked sender list.
You can also add an email address manually to the Blocked Senders list in Outlook. In order to do this, you must have the email message from the sender. In addition, you must have selected the Delete group and Junk mail. Once you’ve added the email address, you can select “Blocked sender” in the corresponding field.
